In the VinesIn the Vines by Shannon Kirk

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Sing it with me… this shh— is bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S!

I feel like every theme, story, tale, whatever you wanna call it, because at this point who knows, it was all in this book.

How the hell did Shannon write this book? Her ability to create such a timeline is astounding. Me, on the other hand, I have a headache and need a moment to take in everything that just happened…..

Crazy? Okay, yep check. Another crazy? Okay, check check. Three crazies? Youuuuu bet.

”Something about old blood and skeletons—they never really go away.”

I just…

…Feel like I fell in a sinkhole.

One that’s really dark and creepy and smells of earthworms and classical music is blaring in the background while you’re just trying to crawl out but keep slipping back down to the bottom as it gets deeper and deeper.

That’s what it’s like reading this book.

Am I crazy now, too?

Just read it and come back to me and tell me you don’t feel the same!
