My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I read this book in *almost* one sitting. I had to put it down for a family event and I so did not want to. I kept sneaking peeks here and there because it’s THAT unputdownable. (Is that a word, yes? LOL)
So usually, I can figure out a good thriller even if it’s 60-70% through but not this one! I literally kept ping-ponging ideas through my head to figure it out and Louise literally shut them down in the next sentence. She’s good.
Our main character wakes up from a date and can’t remember anything. It’s obvious something traumatic happened, but what? She can’t remember anything, ANYONE, and doesn’t even recognize herself. So how is she supposed to know who her date was?
The angst and the ‘who dun it’ aspect of this book are so high, so page-turning, nail-biting, edge of your seat type of way. Don’t read reviews to try and figure it out, just go in blind and you’ll genuinely be surprised all the way to the last page!
I have seen her books about in the bookstores and online and never picked them up but NOW I WILL!
