Saving NoahSaving Noah by Lucinda Berry

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

“How did a boy who seemed so good do something so bad?”

When I finished this book, I sat there and stared at my kindle for a while. It’s one of those that hits you deep in your soul. For me, it spoke volumes, being a mother to two sons. I cried, and cried, and cried some more.

Lucinda made me question everything I once believed in. Bad people – what makes someone bad? Doesn’t that person still deserve to be treated like a human? Why must people treat that person so badly they don’t even want to live? I have never in my life looked at this side of the fence and Lucinda MADE me see it. She opened my eyes to this other side that has me rendered speechless.

I love Noah’s mom. She was horrified but went to hell and back for her son, right along with him. She loved him regardless because that’s what a mother does.

If you’re a mom, read this.
If you’re a dad, read this.
If you’re looking for something to give you another view on life, something to open your eyes, something to wake you up. Here you go.

5/5 gut wrenching stars!
