The game was over and they stole the victory away from ME.
Cheating. Lies. Corruption. Death.
This pawn never stood a chance.
But then he came for ME.
He plucked ME from my nightmare and kept me safe.
My heart was in tatters and my soul was lost.
Until the beast in ME woke up.
She was hungry and furious and didn’t play by the rules of their game.
We were a vicious team. And we changed the game altogether. I took what was theirs because they took what was mine.
ME against them.
That is…until I had someone else with ME.
Someone who vowed to fight alongside ME until the very end.
I don’t want the love he has for ME.
But the beast in ME still craves to take everything she deserves.
He should run far away from ME.
Instead, he runs straight for ME.
This is ME, baby and I am going to ruin them all.
This is Me, Baby is a dark romance. Strong sexual themes and violence, which could trigger emotional distress, are found in this story. If you are sensitive to dark themes, then this story is not for you.

I NEVER thought I’d like a couple in this series more than War and Baylee. Their book was my favorite. I loved seeing them in the rest of the series as they got older. Hannah and Gabe are great too, being so psychotic together but no, Brie and Ren are a force to be reckoned with!
This book picks up where the last one left off, we know Duvan was killed. Gabe cleaned up after it and dealt with the man who caused his baby girl pain.
“The tiger stripes are fitting. Anyone who fucks with you will meet the claws.”
Brie is in so much dark despair after losing her husband. She’s angry and pregnant. She quickly turns to Ren, War’s son, to help take away some of her pain. Sex with him makes her feel alive, being touched in the darkness takes her away from reality.
Ren is over protective, so alpha, so hot. He’s changed a lot since we saw him in the last book. He’s bigger now, tattoos, scruff on his face. He’s not the same boy he used to be. But he’s determined to keep Brie safe.
Together, they face the wrath of what’s left behind from Duvan’s death. It’s ugly and it’s messy but Ren’s a lover and a fighter, and he’s not going to let Brie go.
“I’ve got you. You may feel lost or alone, but you’re not. I’m right behind you. When you feel like falling, I will catch you.”
The family…ALL of them, as dysfunctional as they come, are trying to work together to help fix this mess. If it even can be fixed. People are missing, hurt, traitors, drug lords are angry…..
“This is life, baby. And you’re going to conquer it.”
And the saga continues…..
My rating: 5/5 tigress stars!
