Text 2 Lovers

by K. Webster & J.D. Hollyfield
Publication Date: January 24, 2017
Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Romantic Comedy

It’s the start of nothing good.
I fired off a storm of raunchy text messages…to the wrong number.
And he replied.
Him: Show me a picture.
Him: Tell me your name.
Why does the lure of anonymity have me craving to indulge a stranger?

It’s the start of everything right.
I received a slew of text messages…when everything in my life was wrong.
And she made me laugh again.
Her: You’re probably a creeper.
Her: Possibly a stalker.
Why do I have the overwhelming need to find this stranger who saved me and make her mine?

Him: Take a chance with me.
Her: This is crazy.
Him: I need to see you.
Her: What are we doing?
Him: We’re about to find out.

Him: PHOTO ATTACHED

My Review

OMG I loved every bit of this book! I knew going into it that I for sure would because I mean, look at the authors! Love them! But they surprised me in so many ways with this one. In the front of the book they talk about how they wrote it with laughs and fun- you can definitely tell! My mouth hurt from smiling and giggling so much. There’s also some punches thrown in there that make you feel. I was NOT expecting that!

“Whoever you are, Buttercup, I’m coming for you.”

The texting before meeting each other thing is brilliant! The flirty, mysteriousness the two have going on is hot and SO fun. Not to mention the banter and corny jokes. I almost wish the texting would have lasted longer!

Dani is shy and sweet and often too nice. Her best friend Andie is trying to help her step out of that comfort zone and stop being a push over by sending her two timing ex some raunchy text messages.

This is where we meet Ram. I instantly fell in love with his character. He’s quirky and funny. But hot and sweet all at the same time. He has genuine feelings that just radiate off of him, along with some deeper issues that we’ll cover later.

“Who knew a wrong number could go oh-so-right?”

I truly loved ALL the characters in this book. It has a sweet sentimental vibe that tugs at your heart strings and has you swooning. There’s love and life, friendship and family. Relationships are tested and brought closer through it all. I just LOVED the warm fuzzies Text 2 Lovers gave me!

PS. Don’t cheat trying to figure out which author is which character, that’s half the fun!

My rating: 5 buttercup stars!
