Can we just have a minute to stare at the cover?! It’s perfect and everything that I’d imagine it would be. I knew the moment I looked at it he was THE perfect Creed- painted the perfect picture!
Road To Nowhere starts off raw and gritty with life in the MC world. It’s not nice and pretty, at all. Emotions are heavy and the tension is extremely high. Creed endures a lot for his age. The things he’s put through and sees on a daily basis. He’s damaged and completely broken inside.
Then there’s Mia. She’s just a sweet, young, innocent little girl. She’s a spitfire though, not afraid to speak her mind even to some biker she barely knows. She does know he’s sad and she has hopes she can fix him… Creed wants none of that. He wants her as far away from him as possible. She’s too good. Too pure.
*Staying spoiler free* Creed had me angry throughout most of the book. His choices with women and just life in general. We spend a lot of time getting to know him and honestly I would have liked a little less of that and more of the story. I found myself mindlessly reading a lot just wanting to know more about Mia and see the two of them together. Their age differences are a little off, but it is something I was able to look past and still enjoy the story. Overall it was an emotional roller coaster that packed a good punch. If you enjoyed the Good Ole Boys, you’re definitely going to want to read this!
*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Many thanks for allowing me to read this book!
